Marijuana Treatment
Marijuana Education and Treatment Program
This program is designed to help marijuana users to change the thinking, attitudes, and beliefs that contribute to use, abuse and dependence. This program consists of 12 sessions (24 hours).
The program is based on the following approaches to behavior change:
Assessment of Use
A thorough assessment of the client's past and current marijuana use will be understood through assessment questionnaires and discussion.
Motivation Enhancement
Elicits positive motivational statements from clients.
Cognitive-Behavioral Psychology
This approach relies on the effective change of thinking, attitudes and beliefs people have about using marijuana.
Social Aspects of Use
Social relationships and activities often reinforce marijuana use making it difficult for clients to change. This effect is considered in depth.
Biological Effects of Use
An in-depth look at how marijuana use affects the user physically including the effects marijuana has on developing and the adult brain.

To register, please phone Rangeview Counseling Center at 303-447-2038. This is an open class. Clients can begin at any time without regard to the session currently being covered.
Program Fee: $30.00 per session plus a one time $20.00 materials fee.
